With an eye for detail and a passion for photography, Rebekah Yates brought her vision to life with the creation of miaou!photography in 2002. Her photography focuses on the family spirit or her ideal of "Celebrating Life." Starting with her first camera as a small child, Rebekah has seriously pursued photography for nearly a decade.

A natural light photographer, she specializes in capturing life in a moment, a memorable frame etched in time for you to cherish. From maternity to graduation, engagements to anniversaries, special events to pet photography she ensures you will have photographs which truly reflect you and the moment.

Based in Ottawa, Ontario, she shoots on location working with both digital and film, with various cameras including a Canon 20d and a Nikon N50. An accomplished photo editor, she has experience with both Photoshop CS4 and Lightroom.
